Serving Others
Jesus — the King of the universe — knelt down and washed His disciples' feet (John 13). If He was willing to serve, what excuse do we have? Service isn't some grand, heroic act; it's in your daily life: helping a classmate with homework, doing chores at home, setting up chairs at church, spending time with someone who's lonely, praying for a friend. The key to service isn't what you do but your heart — is it out of love, or desire for praise? True service expects nothing in return. When you serve others, you're actually serving Jesus. 'Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me' (Matthew 25:40). Find your gifts — maybe you're good at music, writing, sports, tech, or cooking — and use them to bless others. You don't have to wait until you're 'older' to start serving. You can start now!
