摩门教（后期圣徒教会）在圣经之外加添了《摩尔门经》《教义和圣约》《无价珍珠》作为经典，并教导根本不同的神学：（1）上帝曾是人，人可以成为神；（2）多神论——存在多位神；（3）耶稣和撒旦是灵兄弟；（4）救恩部分靠行为。但加拉太书1:8警告说“若有人传福音给你们，与你们所领受的不同，他就应当被咒诅“。摩门教的“上帝“与圣经启示的上帝是根本不同的存在。

Mormonism (LDS Church) adds the Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price as scripture, teaching fundamentally different theology: (1) God was once a man, and man can become God; (2) Polytheism — multiple gods exist; (3) Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers; (4) Salvation is partly by works. But Galatians 1:8 warns, 'Even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached, let him be accursed.' Mormonism's 'God' is fundamentally different from the God of biblical revelation.
